Happy New Year to One and All. We hope you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to prosperous year filled with good health and happiness...
The last half of last year was quieter for us as far as project builds were concerned. The recession has made us all a bit more hesitant re spending and investments. But in the last week we have noticed this trend changing with much more optimistic media reports. We have had several customers inquiring about conversions and interest in our new composite motor home. In November we launched a new division of Lifestyle Motorhomes - Refurb & Repair Centre. Through local advertising and letterbox pamphlet drops we were kept busy with caravan and camper refurbishments and upgrades. We also carried out many repairs and maintenance jobs for existing clients and new clients who never knew we existed. All in all a very successful venture. We are now extending our advertising for the Refurb & Repair Centre.throughout the South Island and are having customers call in as they pass through Ashburton on their travels. It is very satisfying to them and us, to be able to "fix their problems" on the spot or within a couple of days. We welcome all inquiries and encourage customers to phone ahead and book if possible, if not we do our best to fit them in on the day and source materials if needed as quick as possible. This year one of our goals is to have our first composite motorhome completed and delivered to a customer followed closely by a second one. This is an exciting venture we wish to share with all of our clients and extend an offer for you to book in for a workshop tour to see just what we are creating. Paul Burbidge has left our business to further his career working with a company that promotes safety products. I have been with Lifestyle Motohomes for 16 months working alongside Marty assisting him in his position as Project Manager. I have also been managing the Small Jobs department and the Interior Design of all our motor home builds and refurbishments. During my time here I have also been very involved in changing the business on to a new computerised system. I now look forward to being your first contact person whether you want to build your dream motor home or to refurbish, repair or maintain your existing motor home, caravan or camper.
